The story goes something like this – Cory was waiting at the bus stop and Mowry sisters saw him waiting and offered him a ride. They became friends soon after. After giving birth to her son, she adopted a careful workout routine to shed her baby fat. Initially, she only worked two to three times a week before progressing to four and then five times a week.

She also went out for less intense and demanding workouts like Pilates and yoga. She particularly enjoyed power yoga sessions. Also, she kept her weight loss goals conservative and aimed to lose about 5 pounds a month.

She chose yoga as a latechoice of training. She states that yoga helps her relieve stress and doesn’t upset her. She also relies on a modern form of yoga, done at Y7 Studio with hip hop tunes.

Another fitness activity that helps her manage her stress levels is running.

In terms of diet, she cut out sugar and carbs. She focuses on eating lots of protein and lots of fresh vegetables and fruits. In case the hunger pangs do crop up between meals, she relies on her homemade smoothie bowl to curb them. Tia Mowry The Fact

At the age of 12, Tia and her sister Tamera asked their mother to move the family to Los Angeles so they could pursue an acting career.

In May 2012 she published her first book titled Oh Baby: Pregnancy Stories and Advice from One Hot Mama to Another which talked about pregnancy and working moms.

Tia is the Atlanta team’s coach on the Entertainment Basketball League’s celebrity team. Her husband Cory Hardrict and former co-star Pooch Hall star under her.

After reading Alicia Silverstone’s book The Kind Diet, she decided to go vegan as a New Year’s resolution.

She was an advocate for the vegan lifestyle and even played a starring role in PETA’s vegan ad campaign.

In 2015, she collaborated with her sister Tamera to publish a fiction book, Twintuition: Double Vision , which tells the fantasy story of twin sisters and their adventures.

Together with Tamera she founded her own production company called “Twilight Production”.

Tia and Tamera starred in the STYLE Network reality TV show Tia & Tamera . The show became the highest-watched new series in the network’s history.

In 2013, Tia and Tamera launched their own line of maternity products. First, they introduced two products – Dairy! This was an herbal drink that contained organic ingredients that helped moms make milk and dairy products Stretchy! This was an herbal cream that helped reduce pregnancy scars.
